Mildred Walden, 80
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - Mildred Walden, 80, of 18 Elm St. died Thursday, April 8, 2004, at North Adams Regional Hospital, where she was admitted March 26, following a brief illness.Born in North Adams on March 12, 1924, daughter of Felix and Catherine Violette Letalien, she attended schools there, including the former St. Joseph's High School.
Mrs. Walden had been employed by the former Sprague Electric Co. for many years, retiring in 1969.
She was a communicant of St. Raphael's Church.
Her husband, Richard B. Walden, whom she married Aug. 14, 1952, died Dec. 27, 1996.
She leaves two daughters, Sandra Feltier of Port Jervis, N.Y., and Jeri Ann Anderson and her husband,Jan Anderson Jr., of North Adams; two brothers, Gilbert Letalien and Joseph Letalien and his wife, Barbara, all of North Adams; two sisters, Viola Brondoni of Norh Adams and Elaine Misiaszek of Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Michelle Marie Levesque, James Christopher Gostischa, Christina Anne Anderson, Katie Ann Rooney and Jon Verner Anderson, and nine great-grandchildren, and three sisters-in-law, Florence Hussey, Joyce Walden, and Geraldine Leonesio and her husband, John.
She was predeceased by her siblings Ruth Vincelette, Marie Markey, Irene Luczynski and James Letalien.
FUNERAL NOTICE - Services for Mildred Walden are private. Graveside committal services and burial will take place Wednesday, April 14, at 10 at Eastlawn Cemetery, Williamstown. There will be no calling hours.
