Carol J. Green, 66
RICHMOND, Mass. — Carol J. Green, 66, of 15 Beech Road died Saturday, Aug. 30, 2003, at home. Born in Winsted, Conn., on May 2, 1937, daughter of Charles and Ellia Mott Bennett, she was a graduate of Mount Everett Regional School in Sheffield and of the former Bishop Memorial School of Nursing in Pittsfield.
Mrs. Green was employed as a registered nurse at Berkshire Place in Pittsfield for eight years, until 1984. She also worked at Valley View Nursing Home in Lenox for 10 years.
She was a member of Richmond Congregational Church.
She and her husband, Frank Green, were married Sept. 16, 1961.
Besides her husband, she leaves three sons, Michael Green and Jeffrey Green, both of Richmond, and Brian Green of Northampton; a brother, Charles W. Bennett of Ashley Falls; a sister, Norma Stores of Walton, N.Y., and two grandchildren, Aime and Frank Green.
FUNERAL NOTICE — A memorial service for Carol J. Green will be held at a time and place to be announced at WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME in Pittsfield. There will be no calling hours.
Burial will be in Center Cemetery in Richmond. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association in care of the funeral home, 220 East St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
