Rita M. Sharron, 86

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Rita Mary Sharron, 86, of 59 Chestnut St. died early Saturday morning, March 1, 2003, at Sweet Brook Care Centers in Williamstown.

Born in North Adams on April 6, 1916, daughter of John and Rose Sbarbaro Bianco, she was a 1933 graduate of Drury High School. She also attended the former North Adams Normal School, now Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, and the former Bliss Business College.

Mrs. Sharron was employed by Hoosac Savings Bank, retiring in 1981. Previously, she had worked for the former Arnold Print Works, the former Sprague Electric Co. during World War II and the former MAC Loan Co.

She was a communicant of St. Francis' Church and a former member of the North Adams Emblem Club.

Her husband, William Sharron, whom she married June 1, 1940, died June 17, 1984.

She leaves a sister, Dolores M. O'Neil, with whom she made her home, and a brother, Dr. Norman V. Bianco of North Adams, and nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Six brothers are deceased: North Adams Mayor Joseph R. Bianco, Philip J. Bianco, William J. Bianco, Ernest E. Bianco, Dr. Harvey H. Bianco and Lionel Bianco.

FUNERAL NOTICE — Services for Rita Mary Bianco Sharron will be Tuesday, March 4, at 12:45 at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, West Chapels, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 1:30 at St. Francis of Assisi Church. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday from 4 to 7 at the funeral home.

Donations may be made to the St. Francis' Building Fund or to VNA & Hospice of Northern Berkshire in care of the funeral home, 521 West Main St., North Adams, MA 01247.
