Ann L. Furey, 59
PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Ann L. Furey, 59, of 510 North Southwest, Washington, D.C., formerly of Pittsfield, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2001, at Aurora (Ohio) Manor Special Care Center.Born in Pittsfield on Sept. 30, 1942, daughter of Francis J. and Winifred McLaughlin Reynolds, she was a 1960 graduate of St. Joseph's High School and a 1962 graduate of Becker Junior College in Worcester. She resided in Red Hook, N.Y., for more than 20 years and had lived in Washington for more than five.
Ms. Furey was employed as an office administrator for Just Us Kids, a day-care center in Washington, at the time of her death. She also worked as an usher at the Kennedy Center. While in Red Hook, she was a Realter.
She leaves twin daughters, Robyn Cody of McKinney, Texas, and Jacqueline Chenkus of Twinsburg, Ohio; a son, Sean Furey of San Diego; a sister, Ellen Ruberto of Pittsfield; two brothers, Francis Reynolds of Chatham and John Reynolds of Boston, and two grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Funeral services will be Monday, Nov. 19, at 9:15 a.m. from Dwyer Funeral Home, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 in St. Charles' Church by the Rev. Peter A. Gregory, pastor. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Sunday, Nov. 18, from 2 to 5. If friends desire, donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home, 776 North St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
