NORTH ADAMS, Mass. â€' Anne-Marie Theresa Archambault, 76, formerly of 39 Dean St., died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2001, at the home of her daughter Lois A. Hawkins in Old Fort, Tenn.Born in North Adams on Aug. 20, 1925, daughter of Joseph and Sarah Giroux Lauzon, she attended the former Holy Family Parochial School and Drury High School.
Primarily a homemaker, Mrs. Archambault was employed at the Greylock Division of the former Berkshire Fine Spinning Associates and the former Gale Shoe Co. before her marriage.
She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mercy Church and a volunteer with Elder Services' Meals on Wheels program.
Her husband, Edward Noah Archambault, whom she married July 20, 1946, at Holy Family Church, died March 7, 1996.
Besides her daughter, she leaves four other daughters, Sandra M. Daunais of Adams, Susan J. Stewart of Plantation, Fla., and Tina M. Toniatti and Sarah J. Bohl, both of North Adams; three sisters, Doris Bell of California, and Jeanne Sullivan and Alice Carson, both of North Adams; nine grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren, and a great-grandson.
She was predeceased by four brothers, including Edward Lauzon, Joseph Lauzon, William Lauzon and Francis Lauzon.
FUNERAL NOTICE â€' A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at a time to be announced at Our Lady of Mercy Church in North Adams. Burial will follow in the family lot in Southview Cemetery in North Adams. There will be no calling hours.
